I love to write, and I'll write just about anything. I seem to be most well known for my stupid little comedy pieces though...

    Commissions

    Hello all.

I figure, I might as well. I'm opening up commissions.

I've had little motivation to write lately, and, as cynical as it sounds to me, a paycheck might just be what I need to start writing again. I'm gonna keep this quick and simple. I'm opening up five slots, I'll see how it goes.

    Something to read, part 3

I've only done this a handful of times. I hardly write blog posts, much less blog posts just to recommend my followers go read something written by someone else. But this is one of those times.

It's not a happy story. It's not a long story. But it is good.

    Stargazing Together v1.0

Many many years ago I wrote the original Stargazing Together story. It is almost 40k words long, and was my magnus opus for a long time.

    Princess of Equestria

I just published a sister story to Queen of Nothing, based on the idea that this person stuck in my head. Blame them for this.

    I hope you enjoy.

Edit: I realized I didn't link the new story for you all. Oops.

    Now enjoy.

Warning: Spoilers ahead for Stargazing Together.

TStargazing Together
Luna's mind is fractured, broken. If she is going to return as a princess of Equestria, she needs time to heal, as much as she can. But who is going to help her heal, and who will she be at the end of it all?

So, with the end of Chapter 9, we have officially reached the end of Part 1 of Stargazing Together. From here out, the story is going to be written from Twilight's perspective, primarily. If the scene requires it I will of course switch back to Nightmare, but I want to take time to show Twilight's side of things.

The big thing right now is that, as indicated at the end of chapter 9, Nightmare is off touring Equestria. She's going to be gone for months, and won't return until she shows up in Luna Eclipsed. During this time, she and Twilight are going to be writing back and forth. A lot. Now, I don't want to bore you all with endless chapters of letters, nor do I really want to write that. However, there is going to be serious relationship developments during this time. They'll admit things to each other, do some flirting, that kind of stuff.

So I wanted to ask you all, my wonderful readers, what you think. I've got a few ideas I'll go ahead and list, but I'm open to new things. The quick way of handling this is just to skip it entirely, and while I write chapters going forward I allude back to the letters. I'm not too happy with that idea, mostly because I think the letters are important. The other quick fix is to just write a few letters, cover the major stuff, and then get back to the meat of the story.

Now, the idea I'm really interested in is writing all the letters out, or at least a lot of them, as a side story. I'd take a break from Stargazing Together, though not completely, to write out a large number of letters, and put up another story for you all to enjoy. This option would take the longest, since I'll need to completely plan out every letter, at least in broad strokes, before I continue with Stargazing since I don't want to worry about retconning anything. But, I think it's the best way to do this justice, without bogging down the main story.

So let me know what you think. I really want to start building the relationship between Twilight and Nightmare, but part of the relationship is built through the letters, but I don't want to bog down the story...

Also, if you have any ideas for cute moments while they write back and forth, let me know. I'd love to hear what you all have to say.

If you ask me, I say just write multiple letters for each chapter. Of course, cover major events, but give us some character development, some world building, some romance lead-up. Maybe about 5-10 letters a chapter, for about maybe 10 chapters at max. Don't forget the chess game!

I think you should continue the main story arc but have letters in the chapters that cover important development between the two characters

Now, the idea I'm really interested in is writing all the letters out, or at least a lot of them, as a side story.

Sounds like it could work, could even work without requiring the use of a side story if there isn't a ton of letters.
If the letters are interesting and there's something happening at the time too then it could be very interesting to simply cover it all in the main story itself without needing to take a break and put the letters as a stand alone fic. If they build things up and there's some fun flirting and good progress maid, then I see them as worthwhile addition to the story.

What I'm left wondering is how much of Luna will come out or has she retreated completely? I've not seen much of her in a while. I remember that when stressed, Luna would retreat and nightmare would take over. If shes relaxed on tour and away from royal duties, would Luna return at all and wonder what is going on?
Twilight could get some interesting letters if she had something romantic from both sides of Luna/NMM..

I think letters must be in main story. They should talk about Celestia, Twi friends and about Luna*s journey.
