One of Trixie's best-known traits in the fandom is that she speaks in the third person all the time. But does she really? Turns out, no one has ever counted the times she says "I." Until now...

Hat Man Reviews: "Haze" by Bandy!

Haze is a story that is filled with big ideas: Cloud empires. Flying earth ponies. Ancient religions. Superpower-inducing fungi. Unfortunately, much like the mushroom-munching ponies in this story, this story might be biting off more than it can handle…

Well, crap... · 11:45pm Jul 17th, 2018

I'll get right to the point: I got laid off last week and will finish my current job at the end of this month. It kinda put me off of writing. I do apologize for the delays that have been happening lately. This delay, however, was the last, and the finale of "Human After All" will be up this weekend (it's in the editing stages now). While I'm sure that I'll find something soon, things have just been hard lately in general. Still, I apologize in the meantime for the sheer amount of delays on such a relatively short story. :ajsleepy:

Well that sucks. :twilightoops: I hope you find something soon. I'm not sure I have any connections that would help.

Advice: Keep your working habits and roll straight into the job hunt. Sleep til noon once and it becomes addictive.

Good luck with the job hunt! :twilightoops:

All I'll say is I wish you the best, and don't let us get in the way of getting things sorted out on your end, meaning us guys should be the last things on your mind right now. Updates on your situation are much appreciated, but sometimes I get the suspicion that writers feel like they're letting us down by not putting out content. That isn't the case at all. Just focus on making everything right for you.

Amen, brother. Having a stable income takes priority over writing fanfiction, no matter how wonderful said fanfiction is.

In other words, don't worry about us. We can read your fanfiction whenever you get it written and edited. As we say on MMOs, rl takes priority. :ajsmug:

Sorry about the job, and good luck, again.

Ouch.

Best of luck finding a new job. (hopefully one that'll appreciate you more)

Delays are fine. Especially when what's at stake here is your livelihood.

Best of luck, hope things look up for you, and a big, warm hug!
