Literary problem solving for fun and entertainment · 8:47pm Jul 28th, 2018
I've come to a decision, namely, that writing is fun. Astonishing surprise, I know, and that I enjoy doing it. lamentably, I seem to be utterly lacking in any ability to write characters other than my own inimitable self. Troublesome that, as my prose seems fairly competent otherwise, if I do say so myself.
So what to do? Well, commenting on others stories is entertaining, when one finds something to talk about, and actual conversation can be downright rewarding. But spamming other people's stories with my self-important drivel would be rude, in my eyes, so I had the clever idea of attracting conversation here instead.
What to talk about? I'm glad you asked! I very much enjoy answering the question, "how could this happen?" So that's what I propose, bring me questions, situations that need solving, problems that need a key, conundrums.
I will do my best to figure out how a situation could develop into its current state, suggest concepts that might solve a problem, or imagine a sequence of events that might lead to a particular outcome.
lets see where this goes, somewhere interesting, I hope. In any case, I am at your service, anonymous reader! What questions may I answer?
Wow, that is some seriously purple prose. too much reading and not enough sleep, that's what it is. In any case, stripped of all the flowery jargon, I'd like to offer my services in concept development and brainstorming. If you're having trouble with a plot hole, or are not sure how to move a story along, or just want a random story idea thrown at your face, I'd be more than happy to help.

How would a dragon feel about coming back to life as some sort of frankenstein dragon?

Well being raised and forced to obey a master, that would go about as well as you'd expect. A dragon that returns under it's own efforts is called a dracolich, and is unthinkably dangerous. Being cobbled together out of several different creatures like some kind of science project?
I think they would take that as a mortal insult, to think that some lesser creature dare disturb their rest. Certainly other dragons would do everything in their power to eradicate the malefactor.
