First off, apologies. I was swept up in a flurry of activity this month and couldn't get too much writing done. By that, I mean writing was done but not to the quality I care to have while editing it down before sending it to the editors. I should get a chapter done in the next few days, though. However, that's not the main point of this blog.
I've spent a great deal of time looking into hypnosis to understand it better. Frankly, I'm looking to see if it is real as well as what could happen if applied to people. I've taken the past few weeks to study it and even attempt it on a few people online. As it stands, I know not whether or not it's real or if it's just a giant mime show. Thus, I want to ask a question.
Would anyone be interested in me keeping a blog of my endeavors and keep a fortnightly post where I tell what I've done and what I've discovered?
I'm tempted to do so, but I would like to know if anyone would be interested in seeing my descent into hypnotism addiction, as well as what I learn along the way. If you're interested, just leave a comment saying you are or thumbs up a comment already saying it.

From my own understanding (not very much that is) hypnotism is about putting someone in a state were they are susceptible to commands. However it requires that the person in question wants to be hypnotized. So if it would be used to "seduce" someone I don't think that would work unless the person already wants to be "seduced". But I am curios so go ahead and tell us about your findings.
Someone actually taking the time to learn hypnotism would actually be very interesting. You've caught my curiousity.
Now about hypnotism in the story. The vadility of hypnotism is always in question. The thing is, realism isn't really a factor here. The fetish isn't fueled by hypnotism in and of itself. It's all about dominance over both the mind and body. Hypnotism is just a tool to achieve that, and in truth a poor one. In reality hypnotism can be a long and monotonous process where it could take hours of consistent application to actually acheive anything close to what you find in stories like these. Even then, like the previous commenter said, it's practically impossible to hypnotize someone without their consent. Hypnotism can be great for foreplay, but is inadequate for the literal mind control your story is going for. In short, more embelishment and less realism usually makes for a better story.

Personally, I don't come to hypnosis and mind control fiction for realistic depictions of the former. I understand that it is possible to use traditional hypnosis methods to change the way someone thinks, though currently a trance state has to actually be entered by the target through coaxing. You can't just force someone to your will with our current level of mental understanding. I'm a big fan of this story because it strikes a balance between being raw power fantasy and a genuine story. I hope it gets updated soon at the standard level of quality these last four chapters have shown.
As for the blog, I think it would be interesting to read about, at least. So I'd encourage the go-ahead on that.
