Hearth's Warming Extra Tidbit 1: The Wolf's Apple. · 6:15pm Aug 23rd, 2018
Now we get to the first of the tidbits. First off, I'm this got posted late yesterday was a very terrible day for me. Not only did all my laptops stop working but I got into a massive argument. But that over with now and I'm trying to move forward. Today, I will provide extra information for the Wolf's Apple, the tavern that Starlight and Twilight worked at and lived in while in the past. This place is the starting point in the story and this tavern, as well as the village itself, will be the main area of the story for at least until the end of the first season so I thought it would be the best choice for the first tidbit. If you missed the original blogs of the tidbits just know they aren't required to enjoy the story but they do provide extra facts that I couldn't fit into the story at the time and can give cool hints to things that might happen later, this can mean keeping up with these will put you ahead of some of the other readers, while at same the others will not be missing massive chunks of the story by ignoring these. These are here purely to give that extra amount or extra tidbit. Now down below is the information of the Wolf's Apple...
******
Founded and built by two strong earth ponies some may find it strange to be so far from the Earth Pony Conglomerate, but this old tavern holds quite a strong place in the heart of the old mare that runs it. Ginger Golden Raven was her name before she met the handsome Jack Apple. Back then though he was a young little bit of an ass and she was a very kind soul. Despite the two rather disdain toward each other there was one they adore and that was fairy tales which when Lighttone had a story to tell they would always sit still and listen to his stories.
Jack would always compare himself to the Big Bad Wolf and Ginger to Little Red Riding Hood. He would chase Ginger everywhere. However, as they got older they found their little chasing game reversing itself, it was now Ginger chasing Jack. She was now the wolf hunting him down. Yes, it was certainly loved for the two and they just knew it. Soon they were married and to corroborate this and to give them a nice start of life they decided to build a tavern. Though things weren't going to be as easy as they thought. However, Lighttone stepped in and gave some money and help until they could properly move on their own, though this came on one condition that meats be added to the menu. Jack and Ginger were more happy to give into him... even if it meant doing a few illegal things to get said meat. Soon the tavern was finished and in honor of their relationship and the fairy tale they loved so much they named it the Wolf's Apple.
