Friendship is Card Games: Epic (Noun) Time

Yeah, we’re dipping into the fandom archives for this one. Literally, given that the Alligator Tub Productions YouTube channel has renamed itself and wiped its content. But the Internet never forgets (except when it does) so let’s look at some classic fan animation and see how well it holds up.

Friendship is Card Games: Ponyville Mysteries: Schoolhouse of Secrets

This is an interesting situation. I begin my look at the Ponyville Mysteries novel series, which predates the Ponyville Mysteries comics I reviewed back in… 2019, my goodness.

Well, let’s get this started before my bones turn to dust.

    Egregious Automaton: Retract

Ahem. So. Upon further investigation, it is possible that the primary source for the "AI voices" brouhaha may, in fact, have been full of crap. Or at the very least, does not work at Hasbro.

Poodle, the History of Pedestria · 11:41am Aug 25th, 2018

McPoodle is one of the site's most dedicated researchers, with a commitment to comprehensiveness and accuracy matched only by the thoroughness of his cited sources in his afterword chapters. I bring him up because his latest work, On Getting to the Bottom of This "Equestrian" Business, is a shining example of that dedication to research. It's an alternate history period piece that gets Canterlot High and Earth as we know it to coexist, starring the local version of Richard Feynman. Also, there's a small matter of the Cold War turning hot. (And I may have unwittingly helped inspire the concept, but Poodle's done a lot more with the concepts behind a human religion that produces cutie marks than I ever have.)

I'll have to give it a peek. I've never thought about it before, and when it came up in Oversaturated...
I scrunched. A lot. And whispered "what the fuck".
Because it sounds like Scientology.

Granted it's been quite a while since I've read Oversaturated.

Yeah, I'm really excited about this one. :D

Too bad I'll never have time to read it. D:

Hm, looks interesting, at least; thanks.
