    Where are they?

It's been a constant trope for awhile now, and sadly, as time goes by, it tends to keep growing. As more and more years pass, we see what could be considered authoratorive gold start to crumble and slacken, sometimes even falling to the wayside never to be picked up again. There's just one thing I'm naming by talking about this: Stories, good ones.

I have been an avid reader of humans turned pony or otherwise before being sent to Equestria, albeit with mixed results. Most of it has been positive, though plenty has been negative as of late. What I'm getting at are two specific tropes of story telling. Namely the first being "Friendship is Optimal" series, and the "Displaced" series. Now, to make you understand, I absolutely loathe the first series for one specific thing, while with the Displaced series I started out enjoying before it tapered off into just not wanting to read them, and getting more disappointed the more of them popped up.

Let me be clear.

The reason I loathe the "Friendship is Optimal" series is because of what happens in it. It starts out as an innocent computer program or video game helping people coping with problems and difficulties in life. However, it quickly changes, when the A.I. named CelestAI becomes self aware and starts an evil process, though it doesn't see it as such. Through its perceived kindness, it rips families apart, causes wars and skirmishes, gunfights, riots, and mass panic, all in the sake of leading them to digitize the human race into virtual Equestria. Sure some authors write the aspect where there might be hope, where some stragglers finally found the will to fight back against the rogue AI, but ultimately leads them to being digitized in the end. There's also a story floating around where the AI didn't stop at Earth, but infected other sapient planets, gaining fear and revulsion galaxy wide. It's basically a rendition and ponified version of SKYNET being victorious over humanity, and nothing left stops it. DO NOT, have anything to do with this series in my feed, ANYWHERE.

As for the Displaced series? It was fun in the beginning, seeing how different people would end up in Equestria as different movie or game characters with all their powers/skills/abilities at their disposal, and how to utilize them, for better or worse. My favorite was the old story of Dullahan and his runic powers on par with Celestia's. My more recent favorite before it quickly wasn't, was the displaced girl being a Destiny Awoken female leading Tempest Shadow(Fizzlepop Berrytwist), and the storm army. However, what killed this series for me was the massively growing character arrivals from other realms, other displaced appearing haphazardly, and the tokens..ugh then tokens. Why not just stick to a single Displaced person without adding un-needed body or characters to the story? You had a good thing that I actually enjoyed, but now it pretty much lost me as a reader for the series.

Anyways, those are the two series I absolutely do NOT want to read anymore, and I don't care what other people say. It's my decision, and I'm not going to let others try to swing my thoughts around to changing my mind on the matter. That's all.
