    River City Equestria Girls?

Seriously, that's Pinkie Pie on the left, and Rainbow Dash on the right. Tell me I'm wrong.

I will not write a fanfic about the two of them getting into all the fights.

    Probably.

An "I don't have livejournal anymore" sort of update.

    It snowed yesterday.

Which just reminded me how much I don't like winter. It wasn't even a bad snow, just enough of a dusting to linger for a little bit. First one of the season. And I even had the day off from work, due to my schedule, so it's not like I had to do anything ...

    So I didn't.

    Happy Halloween!

So yeah. Despite various distractions (Steam had Darkest Dungeon for UNDER FOUR BUCKS), I've managed to hammer out a ridiculously shippy conclusion to the self indulgent Rarijack story I started.

So that's fun? I gave myself a deadline to finish things on Oct 31, so that's what I did, dangit. Hopefully you guys will enjoy.

So I was going to write a 'regular' pony story. You know, something centered on some of the Mane 6 (Rarity, Applejack, & Twilight, most specifically) dealing with a strange problem and a bizzare creature and what have you. I even wrote up an outline in a notebook back when I was goofing around in the woods awhile back.

Aaaaaand I sat down to write it out, and ... it wasn't quite clicking. That, and I was gonna toss Zecora in, and I wasn't quite up for writing some garbled rhymes.

So, uh ... I wrote about Flash Sentry instead. Even though seven(!) installments in this series is a heck of a lot, and I wonder if I'll ever pick up any new readers who are patient enough to start the series from the beginning. I try to keep each story as a more-or-less standalone, so long as one can pick up on the basic premises early on (Flash is a cowardly rogue, Carrot Top moonlights as Special Agent Golden Harvest, and sometimes the two of them make out). Maybe I should have George MacDonald Fresian give little recaps in his prologues? Hmmm. Too late now.

But yeah! I've had the ideas for this story banging around in my head for quite some time too, so that's a thing. I have no idea how long the story's gonna be, but I'm hoping to have it mostly wrapped up by the end of the month (a tall order, I know), just so I can get all this silly fanfic out of my system so I can turn around and write 'original' fiction for NaNoWriMo. So here's to hoping, right?

In any case, Absinthe Makes the Heart Go Yonder is probably going to be ridiculously gimmicky which means people will either love it or hate it. Time will tell!

Absinthe also makes the head pound longer. And with greater thumping the next day. Yea, hangovers.

Count me in for the "Love It" group!

Wait, seven? (Checks stories added to the Flash Sentry Did Nothing Wrong group. Five. Blast, forgot Murder Most Equestrian.)

holy crap, these are getting out of control! @_@

I am in fact going to read them, it’s just that starting a new series of books takes a stupid amount of energy :p

I don’t like absinthe. It doesn’t do anything special for me and it just tastes like really intense anise.

The way I had it was a good story though, I found a vampire speakeasy in New Orleans. Through word of mouth even, not looking it up online.

Your story needs more Chakats, either way I'm adding it to my reading list
