I'm not sure how many times I repeated the phrase, "One chapter a day, every day, starting Halloween," during Ciderfest this past weekend. But Halloween is Wednesday.
That means To Serve In Hell is coming back in just 48 hours.

The old chapters will be taken down later today. And as I've said before, the first 11 "new" chapters are heavily revised versions of what you've seen before--but once chapter 12 hits, it's new stuff all the way.
While release prep has been dominating my time lately, I decided to take a break and get out to Ponyville Ciderfest this past weekend. This is my third time going, and it's always a blast--but this time was at least 20% cooler because I finally got the chance to meet (and room with) my longtime buddy & co-conspirator Moosetasm! We tasted cider, went plushie-hunting, and danced inadvisably hard to some bangin' live sets by Silva Hound and Odyssey Eurobeat. On top of that, we got to catch up with cuddlefic master extraordinaire CategoricalGrant, meet expert reviewer Matthewl419 (and others!), and grab an impromptu lunch with OMG-it's-that-guy Corejo. Plus I got to be part of a panel about how to begin and end stories with the one and only Vivid Syntax!
I'll have to get some pictures up when I'm not neck-deep in Hell. 
At any rate: next fic is definitely going to be the remastered version of Bra Quest! from last September's Writeoff. I have disliked sitting on it in its mostly-edited state for the last couple of months, but things keep getting in the way. Who would've guessed that editing a novel involves quite a lot of effort? 
Hype gotten. Looking forward to a new round of servitude.

What happened to all of the chapters? Have they not been re-uploaded or are you starting from scratch?

I think I got your question on the story itself, but I’ll answer here too: I’m “kind of” starting from scratch. Chapters 1-11 have been heavily revised, and I’m reposting new versions of them. Most of it still plays out the same as before, but there are some aspects of the plot and (especially) characterization that should be much tighter and more cohesive in the new versions.
