Six months ago, a reader came to me asking permission to make a 3D model comic of the Cupcake Chronicles. As I'm pretty hands off whenever someone wants to do a translation or reading of my work, I told him to go for it.
Now I've finally taken a look at it, and while it's still a work in progress, the effort he's put into it is pretty mindblowing. The opening scenes are 117 pages long so far; loading times for the images are a tad long and can only be done one at a time, but it's worth it; absolutely no detail has been overlooked.
If you're interested, please note that as the story is Mature, this comic is certainly along the same lines.

There are certainly a few stories such as this that I wish I could adapt into anime style things or "movies" but I never paid attention in those types of classes and I wouldn't know how to go about doing that outside of daydreams. I always considered Cupcake Chronicles the best adaption of the infamous story. Not only because it was a way to read it, but Rainbow is spared and while sad, is a fantastic reimagining. You perfectly balanced a faithful imagining of Cupcakes but for those of us that don't like negativity, made it so Rainbow is saved after everything she goes through.
The emotions thereafter are more tolerable cause at least there is hope. Which in my eyes, would have made the original story better. but, I was always an empathetic soul that didn't like downer endings in movies. I believe that after everything the main character went through, there should be at least some hope involved, which is what Cupcakes Chronicles was to me!
I know Ed from the RarityDash discord server, he had me personally read it for him...he is a great guy.
