If you were looking at the shirts I sell...

... they're about to go away. My shirt printer is retiring, and I have no replacement.

After May 5 I'm going to take down the online order links on my little business's online store, and after this summer I'll clear out of whatever shirts I have left.

So if you'd noticed any of these before, now's effectively the last chance.

Not back to KSP yet, but I did do some space stuff.

I haven't touched KSP since my early experience with KSP2 was a combination of glitchy game and impossible-to-read UI. I've been thinking about it here and there, but I've had other things to do.

But that doesn't mean I'm not doing space stuff, and yesterday I finally edited and posted a video of such.

    My muse is nagging me.

I've done very little writing the past five months, partly due to being busy, but mostly due to recurring headaches when it's writing time.

I have a couple weeks off, and I'm going to try to make time to get back on my projects (the Octavia story and novelizing Peter is the Wolf). But my mind... well... it's trying to jump ahead, or possibly back.

    Life imitates art...

So, a privately built and operated space probe became the first US lander to soft-land on the Moon last week- Odysseus.

Maretian Announcement, and Props · 9:55pm Nov 9th, 2018

I've decided to go ahead and add that tech appendix, plus a brief introduction, for The Maretian. This is more due to an ulterior motive (more on that in the author note for the appendix) than demand, but I think it does need doing.

But before I do that, I want to mention what really inspired me to attempt a daily update story.

What inspired me is Admiral Biscuit's SIlver Glow's Journal.

For all of you who kept complimenting me on managing daily updates (at a rough average of 1650 words a day), Admiral Biscuit managed the same feat, with a story that went over two months longer than I stretched Maretian... and over double the word count. Over 2600 words per day, and all in a single voice and format- all done consistently and consistently well. If was I did was an accomplishment, what he did was an exemplar.

And it's not just the one story. I've released ten stories on FimFiction, two of which haven't been completed. (And I really still want to finish Melancholy of Pinkie Pie, honest, even if nobody else cares.) The Admiral's done one hundred forty-three stories so far, long and short. In output he has me beat a mile, and most of it is not just good but excellent.

So, if any of you aren't aware of this stuff, be aware. And go check it out.

I doubt I'll ever match the output- writing is usually a difficult effort for me and only rarely an automatic thing- but it's still something to shoot for.

Biscuit's a machine, but The Maretian put you in my favorites list for a reason. :)

the maretian is a grate story, but before you under take a Callaghan like this i would spend some time chatting with Admiral Biscuit.

I like your Writing style far more.

I have so many stories in my box, I shall definitely take a look.
The Maretian ticked all the boxes for me, this was a gem imo

Making a release a day would kill me. Just dead, right there, over the keyboard.

I'm fuckin impressed by Biscuit

I still think an amazing sequel would be The equestrian. Some how Mark is trapped on Equestria, and while survival is a little easier, he has to politically navigate Cantalot, rouge changelings, Chrysalis' maneuvers and maybe some kind of other threat that can't immediately be beaten by the now advancing technology. Maybe a Unicorn cult, using emp magic's shutting down all the tech they have been building? The martian was a Gem, and your series' encouraged my to buy KSP (though I'm not very good at it yet. Can just about get a stable orbit.)

May I use some of those ideas for Equus Tales?
