Speaking from experience, recursive fanworks are some of the most flattering forms of feedback one can receive. If you're fishing for these high compliments, here are two anthologies where you can cast your reel.

TInspired by . . .
“‘[Cookie Pusher] reacts to other fan fiction’ sounds like way too much fun in general.” —FanOfMostEverything
Dave Bryant · 1000 words  ·  31  3 · 976 views

Hey, I never said these would be unbiased recommendations. :derpytongue2:

In any case, the background for this one is interesting: Much of Dave Bryant's work involves how the national government might reasonably and rationally react to extradimensional horse women infiltrating a public high school and dealing with paranormal emergencies. To wit, throwing a hapless, young member of the diplomatic corps at the problem, whereupon he becomes the fellow who takes care of the paperwork that crops up from magical adventures and Sunset being the most alien illegal alien imaginable. Cookie Pusher, or Cook as he prefers, is the unsung hero and ambassador to Equestria who keeps the girls' exploits from escalating into interdimensional incidents.

Naturally, Dave has invited us to make Cook's life even more complicated. As previously stated, he has been made a full ambassador to Equestria, so stories on either side of the portal might be available. Final inclusion is of course left to the author's discretion, so don't go expecting a BCU crossover any time soon (I assume.)

TThe League of Sweetie Belles
A team of multiversal explorers comprised of alternate Sweetie Belles explore fanfic worlds and beyond!
GMSeskii · 625k words  ·  300  17 · 4.7k views

This one stems from a story clocking at over a million words and crossing over literally everything, so I'll summarize in the extreme: In an ever-expanding multiversal society, you're going to have some gaps in the map. Several members of the titular League (composed entirely of Sweeties, of course, many of them not unicorns) take it upon themselves to explore the worlds close to home (i.e. alternate Equestrias and EqG Earths) others missed close to home. If you want a quirky bunch of adorable creatures to pay your story a visit rather than use it to torment a benevolent bureaucrat, this one's for you.

Full disclosure: This one's already covered my stuff. Hey, I have to know about it to plug it. :rainbowwild:

League of Sweetie Belles (and obviously Song of the Spheres) is incredibly involved. I have enjoyed visiting both stories.

"You, [fic author]. Be sure to write this down."

Darnit I'd JUST resolved to shorten my Read It Later list...

Oh, THANKS for the free advertising! And I'll be sure to check out that other one too!

:raritywink: Don't mind me. Nothing to see here. Nothing at all.

I am not worthy of such high praise :pinkiegasp: Coming from you that means a lot.

Also, all of you need to go and vote for Sigil of Souls, because that story doesn't get nearly enough attention.

Thank you so much for the gracious and helpful promotional message! And yes, I probably won’t venture into the murky depths of the Beanis Cinematic Universe, as hilarious as I find the concept of the BCU. :pinkiecrazy:
