I don't know what you're talking about, I've always looked like this.

Happy St. Valentine's Day, also additional news. · 7:37pm Feb 14th, 2019

Happy St.Valentine's day everyone, hope its been a good one for you all.

In other news I have actually got a subscribestar page up, it is currently under review so I can't link it just yet, apparently the site is being flooded with new accounts, but them actually having a vetting process is promising. I must warn you all before anyone jumps the gun, Subscribestar automatically deducts an additional amount of money from everyone who subscribes to my page for their own coffers, kind of like how Patreon does it but instead of being a set percentage, I get to set how much you guys have to give to Subscribestar, way to pass the buck to the creators there guys.

I got to set it to the lowest amount possible, which is one dollar per subscriber, which means the lowest subscribe tier which I had been planning to give you guys, the $1 hat tip for those who want to give something but cant afford to give much, is kind of out of the question unless you guys feel okay with your one dollar donation being in actuality a two dollar donation.

So until the banks shut down the payment process for this site, I guess this is how I'm going to get proper donations.

I'm looking forward to this, how are things by the way?

Honestly they could be better but I shouldn't complain.

That's good to hear, if you don't have your creative spark right when you start your subscribestar page don't worry, I'll still lend a hand. I hope things get better for you, and have a good Valentine's Day!

Are things better than they were a few months ago?

Honestly not all that much. But there's not much point talking about it much more.

Hm, that's an interesting model. I'll have to look into it once you get it up and see if there's a way to get it more efficient like making a large one-time donation or supporting multiple people to only pay that fee once.

I think its per person you support actually, seeing as I, the creator who set up the page could determine how much goes to subscribestar. So I am not too happy with it because it kind of discourages people supporting multiple creators because the money going to subscribestar stacks up. I'd rather it be just a set percentage of however much money a user is donating, so the user doesn't get screwed. Although I may be misunderstanding the system here.

It's possible. On the plus side, I just found out that Scott Adams added the ability to use his startup's app, interface by whenhub, as a donation platform so you might want to look into that as well. Given his close association with Trump (Scott called his win in 2015) it should be a safe bet, and you could also use the main function of the app, selling advice on-demand, to make some extra money if you wanted to.

If 10% of the people that liked this all donated 5$ a month, that would give you an extra $1000 every month... I bet that would really help you man.

This could become a part-time job for you - you definitely have the potential with an audience this big.

Just saw this, I've never used Patreon or its like before but I guess nows a good enough time as any to start. At work at the moment but will check this when I get home.
