Monthly Update for Febuary 2019 and A Question For You! · 4:28am Mar 2nd, 2019
First the question. I need to raise my prices for commissions, I havent done so in a long time, and I've also gotten alot better at writing and feel as though I've earned at least a slight raise so to speak because as it stands this isnt livable unfortunetly.
I was thinking of a 2 dollar increase to the commission price bringing it up to 14$ per thousand words. This would cover the tax I will have to pay on every transaction (Which I will now have to pay starting now). I will also be billing people normally from here on out as I need to for tax reasons.
So, on to the question. Do you feel like this is fair? I have to pay a 30% tax on what I make, so I feel like the increase is warranted. I've also done some research and most other people are charging more then me with complicated pricing structures. I feel like this 2 dollar increase isnt bad. But I aint you. So let me know in the comments below. (also I will be keeping the patreon pledge amount at 12$ so that will be a little side bonus.

Not quite what I had in mind, but after how bad january was, I think its a step in the right direction.
On to goals.
1. I need to get alot of work done if I want to reopen commissions in March, which is my number 1 goal, litterly.
2. Get all the updates done as per usual.
And thats kinda it. My family is still in a not great position and I might have to move out, or borrow my mother more money soon, which means plenty of work on my plate and not really alot of time for extra projects. That being said if I do somehow manage to do everything I want, my goal is to start the violence for violence and cookies and milk stories as a patreon exclusive thing that only you guys get to see and really start doing monthly short updates for both (I might save this for a stretch goal, but well see). But I'll save that for when there is less on my plate.

I feel like the increase is fair as you do really good work. I think it boils down to if peope would still pay though. I think it might just have to be something you do and see if it works out or not.
Oh and just fyi, this would obviously take effect next time I open commissions and not right away.
