Wouldn't consider myself exactly a friend, I didn't know him that well despite meeting him briefly a few times at conventions, but I was a follower for a few years.

I enjoyed more than a few of his works, and definitely an egregious amount of his blogs. I'll miss the odd "Terrible, Horrible, Awful Jokes" post and his constant stream of Out of Context image/caption doodads, and the community that contributed to those.

Rest in Peace Mothman, you made the world a sillier* place, and I enjoyed it.
