    What was the Cause?

Something I don't know yet is the cause of the mistake I made more than seven years ago..... I know how the consequences happened. This mistake caused a conflict that affected my mental health. It confused me and made me say stupid things that hurt my friend. I felt

I just had a dream so intense that I need to write it down.....

Did you ever have a dream that was so intense that you thought it was real and everything you saw actually happened?

I just don't understand some people.....

I was only out to buy some simple things today. I had some change left and I went to a nearby park to give it to a homeless person. I couldn't find one and went back to the train station and mall where I started. A man was standing there in front of the entrance, with heavy luggage, a huge backpack and a big suitcase. He asked me for change and said he has no place to sleep. I was unsure about

"Dreamwalker Dash" needs more views..... So here's what I'm going to do. · 8:58pm May 22nd, 2019

I am not satisfied with the views of "Dreamwalker Dash". It did get a lot of favourites already (least, for my current level of popularity), 39 in total, and the overall reception is something I can compare with the success "Princess Flurry Heart, Destroyer of Worlds!" was. Minus the comments, there is far less discussion about it. But my fic for Flurry Heart started with a very intriguing prospect already, when I jumped straight to Flurry Heart's possible future with it. The readers of it went into it with expectations of new characters and new worldbuilding in an Equestria five years after the events of "The Crystalling". So it's not surprising that "Dreamwalker Dash" ignites less discussion.
Rainbow Dash's story also starts out much more simple than Flurry Heart's story did and the description is less intriguing, so it's really to expect that the readers of it have, so far, not much incentive to talk about it in the comments.
But as natural and expected that is, I am not happy with what the story accomplished so far. I AM happy that I have something here that can repeat the success of "Princess Flurry Heart, Destroyer of Worlds!", but I feel that a repeat just isn't enough. I want that "Dreamwalker Dash" becomes a bigger success than Flurry Heart's story was.
The events I recently described in that very long and personal blog entry have slowed my writing down tremendously in the past two years and pushed me back down on a much lower level than the one I had in 2016, perhaps even my lowest level ever. And it has taken long enough to dig myself out of that hole again. So while I'm happy that I seem to be able to repeat that success with "Dreamwalker Dash", I also have a strong urge to surpass it. I need to grow as author. And that's only possible if I take more time with this story.
It is ill timing, since some more personal events have already caused a week without an update and now it's already two weeks since the last one and I have, as much as I hate to admit it, no new chapter ready to release this week. But regardless of that, I feel I can't rush this. I shouldn't. I need to give this story more time. I need to give it more attention and care. I might even go and rewrite the four chapters I have so far. That's not sure yet, but I have realized that the writing isn't completely on par with "Princess Flurry Heart, Destroyer of Worlds!". I can do better and I need to.
But either way, whether I rewrite or not, I need to give the next chapter more time. A lot more. I know it's already two weeks, and I'm sorry for everyone who waits for an update, but this is crucial. And you will benefit from it, because the next chapter will be much better than the previous ones.
So, long story short, "Dreamwalker Dash" is in a semi-hiatus now. The next chapter will be worked on beginning with this week and once that is of a satisfying quality, I'll look at Chapters 1 - 4, read through them and determine if a rewrite is necessary. The way I feel it right now, it probably is.
I will keep you informed about the progress of Chapter 5 and the possible rewrite. Once everything is done, I will let you know that I'm finished and will make sure to release the next chapter very quickly.
I can't exactly tell when it will be done, but reckon with a few weeks. Until then, I hope you look forward to a better quality of "Dreamwalker Dash" as much as I do!
Fluttercheer, out!

A Good idea. I always find it strange if someone faves a Story but does not upvote it.
