It's on like Donkey Kong! · 11:01pm Jun 4th, 2019
My brain's been amped-up because of an awesome movie I've been obsessed over recently, and somehow that relates to me writing out the chapter summaries for a sequel to The Fairy Tale Fiasco.
There is no time-frame for release at the moment, but I just wanted to officially put it out there that there will be a sequel to The Fairy Tale Fiasco at some point. :D So those of you that asked about it or were wondering... rejoice! And if you don't mind some teasers, I've got some info about it below. Nothing spoilery, unless you want to keep the knowledge of which folk tales I have in mind a secret until release.
Currently, it's only the chapter summaries, but the entire story has been summarized, which is how I started writing Fairy Tale Fiasco.
Title: The Fairy Tale Facade
Main Character viewpoint: King Sombra
Fairy Tale Stories: Various picks from: One Thousand and One Arabian Nights(most likely the popular ones we all know and love.) I had the idea long before a certain movie came out in theaters, but it's recent release filled me with—determination!!!
Cast: King Sombra, Twilight, and Spike. All of the mane six. Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Cadence, and Shining Armor. Some crystal ponies. And Discord! All of them are the real characters, not the fake-storybook clones. :D
All I heard was “sequel” and now I’m hooked!
IT'S HAPPENING!!!
And by the way, might I venture a guess that the movie you speak of is the live-action remake of Aladdin?

I hear you on that!
*Proceeds to squeal obnoxiously* EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Yup! I didn't like the teaser trailer at all when I saw it, but the second one changed my mind and I was thinking it doesn't look bad. Then, all I've been hearing about it is good things, and the clips look awesome. I haven't even seen it yet, but I'm pretty sure it helped to get me thinking of Arabian tales and such, which helped me to fully flesh out a story for the Fairy Tale sequel. xD

Huh. I'll probably check it out when it comes out on Netflix.
I ended up seeing Godzilla: King of the Monsters. It was awesome!

Oh man, that's another one I wanna see. This is a good summer for movies!
YES! I am looking forward to it!
No matter how good or bad the movie ends up being - now I'm definitely glad someone decided to make it
So exciting. "The Fairy Tale Fiasco" is definitely the best fanfiction I've ever read. Bardzo dziękuję for your work.
I like how for the first story it's Twi's point of view and then in the second it's Sombra's point of view. I hope they don't meet the bad ending you said there would be. I want for my ship to live.
