Still going in spite of life · 7:01pm Sep 29th, 2019
A reader kindly poked me today to inquire how I was doing since I haven't posted anythin on my stories or blog for months now. Real life slammed me pretty hard after my May update and writing has been at the bottom of the list. Just to detail a few of the incidents, I've been cleaning up a flooded basement, taking care of sick kids (three hospital visits; thank god there aren't bills to pay), an ant infestation, and my car breaking down again and again. Those are just the big ones but dozens of little things piled on top of that.
Anyhow, I'd love to be able to say I'm getting back on track with my writing but I can't promise that quite yet. However, I can promise I haven't given up and I'm not quiting! Hopefully I'll have better news next time I update.

5130217 - Yeah, when real life strikes it doesn't let up. Honestly, I don't think I've ever had to deal with such a ridiculous deluge of problems in such quick sucession. It was the basement flood that really pushed it over the edge. Cleanup and repair from that took the better part of the past three months simply because I did the repairs myself in around my work schedule. Fingers crossed that I can get back on track.
