Bronycon video in the works · 4:09am Oct 12th, 2019
Soooooo, yeah, the last Bronycon was several months ago, and most everyone else who makes videos has already made theirs, so what's taking me so long? Well, mine's animated. It's basically an animated vlog to not only add some style to my con report, but also to test out a potential new format for doing videos, especially collabs.
I've got over half of it animated so far, but sadly, real life's been draining my energy and taking away time I could be working on it. I hate retail. I hate retail so much; it's draining my energy, killing my passion, and making me want to just numb my mind after work to the point where none of my personal projects get done, and it's been this way for about ten years now. I'm hoping maybe completing a project like this will help me rekindle that spark, as well as get the attention of people willing to support me in some way or another.
Despite how long it's been and how seriously out-of-date this video will end up being, I'm still going to make it. One, because I need to finish a project, dang it, and two, because I already got voice acting done from some friends, and I don't wanna waste their time. Apart from the guest voice actors, there will also be a lot of visual cameos, plus a special bonus for the people who helped, one that will grow as more people collab with me.
What's the bonus? Plushies! Well, not real plushies; I'm not that good at sewing yet, but pixel plushies that go on a shelf on my channel's background, each one being the OC of someone who's had a speaking role, or helped in some other notable way. Plus, guests get to show up in sprite form, which is why I've been practicing so much with my sprites lately. That, and to make more f2u bases. :3
So yeah, I'll post the video here when it's done. I should note that, with FiM ending, I don't plan on doing any pony-related videos, except maybe reviewing fan games, so if anyone is interested in throwing in their opinion on my channel about a certain game, let me know. Also, no subscriber requirements; if you can make decent content, that's all I care about.
If/when I get around to doing game reviews, I'll post an update letting everyone know to see who's interested in joining.
still curious about the bronycon video.
