My 12th story, the shortest one yet, hardly even long enough to be worthy of the name, but I wanted to mark the passing of Equestria Girls with... something. I came in during the s4-s5 hiatus, and so I've known Sunset as a main character for as long as I've known the Mane 6. I'm sorry if this story comes across as bleak or bitter, it's really not meant to be either of those things. Just a little way to say a proper goodbye.
There'll be lots more - and happier! - EQG stories from me yet, and lots more ponies too. As with so many of my stories, I just really needed to get this one out of my system. I hope someone out there likes it too, or at least enjoys the song (in which case, Bobby Fuller's version is my favourite. Go look it up!)
Even if it was bleak and bitter, there's always a place for stories like that. With all the care put into the shorts, show, and movies it's really a shame what happened.
