Unpopular opinion: Realistic Avatars

My first few days on here are great, I love this website. The only thing is, I've been looking at some pfp's and they kinda caught my eye.

Before I say more I have nothing against people who use these pfp's or the people who make them, it's just my humble honest opinion.

You may have seen them... It's usually a pony from the mane 6, but the picture is in 3D and has a lot of detail (Credit to the artists too, a lot of work must of went into them) and it's usually taken from angles where they're lying down or sitting down, to me... I don't like it... Personally I just don't really like the way it's made, like from the angle I mean.

I'd rather the 2D FIM style, this style just doesn't appeal to me, and I personally don't like seeing it as cover pics for stories.

Like I said I have so much appreciation for the artists and the people who use them, I know it probably takes a fucking long time to make detailed pieces like them. Well, I guess thats why it's called unpopular opinions :/
