One month ago, I made a blog post announcing my want to return to writing.

One month later, I still haven't done it.
I wont say I'm going to be trying to write anything right now, because exams are coming once more, but I would like to say a few things.
First off, I'm blow away by how much attention Slower Lane still gets. I get a "You've been favorited" message almost every day. It's wonderful, and you ponies are wonderful.

Things I should learn...

Number 1: Life hates me entering competitions. I failed at the NaPoWriMo, and got sick during the Fimfiction write-off.
Number 2: Life likes causeing problems. I have had too much going on IRL to be able to write anything here, or even log on much.
Number 3: Getting at least some of your life in order is a big relief.
Number 4: I should write some more.

So yeah, you've probably heard about that writing competion on that site called Fimfiction.net
You have? Good. I'd hope you had at the very least heard of the site.

Anyway, I plan on entering, and that means focusing on my entry for the next week. Sorry, but that also means I wont be updating anything until the contest is over.

I can't tell you which prompt I'm using, or what characters, or even how long it might be. Why? Because I can't let you know which fic is mine until after the contest,and anything might give it away.

Now do I plan on winning? No way. I saw that Vanner plans on entering, and my money is on him. The pony can write. If you havent read it yet, read this fic http://www.fimfiction.net/story/1924/Happily-Ever-After It's by him, and it is wonderful.

Anyway, I have a competition to not win. See you everypony.
