Netflix has released a Brazilian satirical web special called The First Temptation of Christ, produced by Porta dos Fundos. Many Christians were outraged, considering it to be blasphemous due to the portrayal of Jesus Christ having a gay lover and Mother Mary smoking marijuana.
I happen to be an atheist who respects those with different beliefs and supports the LGBT community and I don't think I'll ever watch this.
What do you think about this?
I have a feeling these guys watched "Life of Brian" and were like "Hold my beer."

It reminded me of something similar that has offended Muslims over its depictions of Muhammad, to the point of two Islamist gunmen shooting the cartoonists to death. It's called Charlie Hebdo.
I think that this is no different than media depicting other faiths or beliefs in an objectively offensive light: something that the outraged Christians have no problem with when it's not them being the subject of satire or ridicule.
Everyone who complained about 'PC Culture' going too far lost their 'right' to a 'safe space'.
I hear thunder...
