    Fun Police People?

Just think about it, you and a couple of friends are watching classic South Park or something edgy. And then, some person comes who's not even a fan of it, demands changes (censorship) or outright turns off the program. Just why do people do this? Why do they ruin everyone's fun?

    My thoughts on Stellar Blade

Her ass is not fat enough. That is all.

    Ponies got much better asses.

MLP Gen5 Butts are too small

Seriously, they are. This is by far the most important issue, if they made their asses fatter it would improve viewership. If they made the ponies thicc prudes would complain, which would only draw in even more viewers. Twilight Sparkle, the protagonist of the series has a fat ass, and her teacher Princess Celestia, who's ass is even fatter.

    I don't like anthro

The main reason is uncanny valley. When something looks human but not quite. A perfect example would be a robot trying to mimic being human, it looks unsettling. It's somewhat insulting towards the ponies, you have Twilight Sparkle there a beautiful unicorn and you can't embrace her just because she's not fully in human shape, even though she has all the qualifications to be a sapient-minded

Bringing Modern Politics Into A Historical Setting · 11:08am Jan 1st, 2020

Why would someone do this? I don't care how violent, racist or sexist the past was, depict the way it was. Why can't movies/tv shows depict a historical setting the way it was? It's immersion breaking to see modern politics.

Sadly, there's that thing called agenda. People will do a lot to further their own goals or gain any kind of power, be it influence or material goods. The shows and movies can depict truth, but don't want to, and won't. History is always written by the winners, and truth... truth is relative.

SADLY, not everyone is as nice as you are, Bendy.

Add to the fact that this practically becomes a problem in creative writing as such anachronisms limits creativity.

Let's not forget the tendency to bring modern politics into a fantastical world whose underpinnings are different enough to invalidate said politics, and then desperately trying to pretend that the second part isn't true.

Like the brilliant move DICE and EA did with Battlefield 5, shoving black, Asian female soldiers into a war dominated by white male soldiers, and despite mentioning the swastika only once in the campaign, not having a single swastika in the entire game?:facehoof:

:ajsleepy:Man, older WW2 games were so much better in terms of historical accuracy. If Wolfenstein 3D (1992) was done today, it would probably be the SNES port.

Was there a video game or movie you recently watched that got you to post this?

Seriously though, the swastika is offensive because Nazis, but if you're already explicitly using Nazi Germany as your villain why censor the symbols but leave in all of the behavior? That's just plain bass-ackwards.
