Well, I am still alive and well. And the story is NOT dead but it's been in merely sleep mode as I try to mull over everything I need to do, but rest assured, I have NOT quit and I won't leave you hanging forever. I Pinkie Pie promise! Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye!

Hey everypony! Here's a breakdown of Mystic's past in case any of you need to look at it for any refreshers! As the story goes on, more information will be added!

Years 0-9

Year 10
Day 1 - Waking up in a cruel, cold world. With no memory of her past or herself, she's surrounded by hostile ponies in the slums, lost and confused and forced to survive on her own.
Day 4 - She's explored the slums a bit and is confronted by an earth pony she stole the jacket from. After a brief confrontation, despite losing the jacket, Mystic escapes. She briefly considers giving up but decides to keep fighting. Later that night, she manages to get past the Wall and its guards, officially entering the better part of the city. There, she meets the Triple Trio, three siblings that care for her but eventually set her up for a robbery before they escape.
Mystic is arrested and brought before Hong who wants to convict her for the robbery despite Mystic telling him she had no knowledge of what was going on. Before he could do anything, the Leader calls them both back and listens to both sides. Mystic is given the punishment of working for the city, and Hong is forced to take her in. He's angry and demands she call him Uncle Hong.
As the year goes on, she's forced to do work for the Palace, some of it heavy lifting, and whenever she didn't follow through or failed an order, Hong whipped her that causes her to bleed. Because of this, she's grown more timid and scared.
Year 11
However, she soon learned a secret; instead of resisting the pain, she embraced it and worked harder. She grew stronger and began developing an attitude.
Day 30 - She wakes up to a day that's still shrouded in nighttime and hears the Leader talking about a Moon Goddess returning to Equestria. Soon, the sun returns and Mystic feels almost as if a disaster had been avoided.
Day 50 - When Hong begins to unfairly abuse her again, she finally snaps and tells him that she has rights and has no reason to treat her so badly! She doesn't have anything to lose anymore! Fortunately, the Royal Advisor was nearby and heard everything. She and Hong are brought before the Leader and he allows Mystic to have a day off to explore the city.
Day 57 - Mystic, while exploring, is approached by a trio of unicorns and the three take her necklace. A chase ensues and the three unicorns are cornered by the Pits. They throw the necklace into them and push Mystic down after it. Mystic manages to get out and clean herself up before she's approached by a filly named Sunshine Smiles and she senses something different about the filly and grows to like her a bit. In addition, she opens up a bit about herself.
Day 63 - She tries to forget about the encounter, but something about the innocent filly just kept bringing her back. She lags behind in her work a bit as a result. Later that day she comes across the orphanage and spots Sunshine being bullied. Mystic runs over and defends the filly before she's brought in before Hong and she manages to convince the Leader to allow Sunshine to be her friend, much to Hong's chagrin. Sunshine is thrilled to be Mystic's friend and both began bonding with their times together.
Day 170 - Mystic and Sunshine meet each other again. When some unicorns begin mocking them both, Mystic stands up to them, defiant and independent from the city's ways. Another feeling of being able to stand up comes to her mind. Later that day, Sunshine asks about Mystic's necklace and Mystic manages to form a joke as an answer. Sunshine also has her promise her something.
“I swear, on my own life and by the sun goddess above and all that is holy that I will never hurt myself and I’ll fight for all that is good and those who deserve saving!” Mystic declared.
Day 172 - A small talk about Equestria takes place and Mystic finds the rumors going around ridiculous. In addition, Mystic opens up about waking up at ten years old with no memory of herself, her lack of a cutie mark and not knowing if she's special. Sunshine comforts her and assures her she'll always be there for her.
Day 175 - Due to be out of her rehabilitation program in a few weeks, Mystic finds out that Sunshine has been looking into the rumors surrounding Equestria and how a group of six ponies have defeated major villains. Sunshine has been looking into the rumors and comes to believe Equestria's a great place. However, Mystic is dismissive of these claims and tries to give Sunshine a realistic look on the world, but it causes Sunshine to get somewhat upset. Later, while heading back to the Palace, Mystic feels some remorse that there might've been some miscommunication in that little talk and promises herself to make amends with her friend.
However, when she began working again, she learns the Leader has passed away and that the new Leader won't stand up for her and that Hong says all that the new Leader needs to say. To her horror, Hong is reinforcing what he believes is what her punishments should be. To make it worse, she won't be seeing Sunshine ever again (according to Hong).
Year 12
Day 10 - Mystic is working in a factory that creates metal and molds it into fences, cannons, and more to reinforce Imperial City. Her times there were horrendous when she'd first arrived and she's been working harder ever since Hong extended her rehabilitation. Times are changing in the city, and not for the better. Later that night, she manages to escape from her cell through a tunnel and reunites with Sunshine. Both catch up and Mystic reveals she's been having scary nightmares.
Day 24 - Sunshine reveals she's planning on leaving the city and invites Mystic to come along. Despite being unsure, Mystic agrees. However, they're found by the soldiers and Mystic is brought back to the Palace.
Day 25 - Practically at the end of her rope, Mystic stands up to several workers and fends them off. Suddenly, she's approached by a mysterious cloaked figure that helps get her strength up, heals her bandaged legs a bit and leaves a note for Mystic to meet her by a cafe. She follows through and she meets the figure in secret. The mare's name is Cierra and she offers Mystic an opportunity to join the Liberators. A group of ponies that are trying to reform the city into a better way. Mystic is concerned about Sunshine's plans and enacting on her plans to find Sunshine and lay low but Cierra points out it would be selfish if Mystic would just stand by and do nothing as the city crumbles. After some talking and consideration, Mystic accepts membership before Cierra leaves as the soldiers find her again.
Later that night, a pony named Meng and a couple of other ponies find Mystic and begin to escort her out while a distraction in the form of a prison escape takes place. Mystic begins to feel some sense of excitement as things go down. When they reach the courtyard it becomes a bit of a battleground as Meng helps pave the way to escape. As an explosion creates a hole for the party to escape through, General Hong arrives to arrest Mystic but Meng begins to hold him off. As Meng fights him off, Mystic watches in amazement as the escort tells her they need to leave.
Suddenly, a soldier leaps out at her, but she manages to subdue him and grabs his machete. She lunges at Hong and injures him, saving Meng's life! As Hong howls in hatred and anger, Mystic makes her escape with Meng and the escorts.
Soon, they escape through a secret passage to the catacombs and reunite with Cierra who is thrilled to see Mystic and the missions being a success. Mystic is concerned about Sunshine's wellbeing but Cierra assures her she'll be at the Base.
Making their way to the base, they're suddenly ambushed by other Liberators. Mystic is amazed to see such incredible fighting skills from Cierra and Meng before the latter escorts her to safety and explains that there are other groups of Liberators out there that have their own beliefs, ideals and codes that practically create a war. Cierra and her party return to them, having ward off the opposing ponies. Soon, they arrive at the Base and to Mystic's horror learns that two ponies that were supposed to retrieve Sunshine have failed to do so. As Cierra scolds them for their failure, Mystic collapses and buries her distraught face into her hooves.
After twelve agonizing hours of waiting, Sunshine is finally reunited with Mystic, and that evening the older unicorn is sworn in as a member of the Liberators. A party is held in her honor and for injuring Hong.
Mystic profusely thanks Cierra for what she had done for her and Sunshine and she ends up finding Sunshine isn't really into the party and disappointed that they're not heading off to Equestria as they'd planned. However, Mystic insists that this will be a good change while Sunshine shares concerns over what could happen due to Mystic being broken out of the Palace. But Mystic assures her things will be okay and she convinces Sunshine to give it a chance before they go play some games.
Day 27 - Mystic is awoken by a trumpet two days later to begin her training and meets Song and Juan, two of the best trainers and both begin training her.
They keep her going until around midnight, and while she's cooling down, Cierra approaches her with some spell books to help Mystic with her magic. Later (after some difficulty finding her way around), Mystic meets with Sunshine and promises to hang out with her every night.
Day 30 - Mystic has trouble (again) to find Cierra's headquarters and overhears a conversation with Cierra and Meng, the latter concerned about the search for them being amped up because of rescuing Mystic. Cierra assures her that she's a unicorn and that she could be very beneficial for their causes. Mystic is discovered after Meng leaves and she informs Cierra that there's amped-up security and walls surrounding the Palace. Cierra tells her to tell the captain to hold off going there until she says they go there.
Day 54 - While cleaning the weapons one day, Mystic is approached by Sunshine and has missed breakfast with her (on top of missing a few nights to hang out with her). She tells her that she'll make it up to her. Sunshine agrees and discusses some role-playing she and some new friends had been playing.
Meng approaches and gives Mystic a new assignment to deliver supplies to a village. Sunshine goes along with them and Mystic is confronted with the reality of the corrupted government have ruined ponies lives and what the Liberators are about. She also sees a new side to Meng that gains her admiration and respect for the mare.
While there, she tells Sunshine this is why she joined the Liberators. Because of what her best friend taught her in saving the innocent and protecting and preserving what is good. When Sunshine wonders about moving the villagers to a safer location, Meng has a reaction that surprises and confuses the two ponies before she excuses herself rather quickly.

Day 364 - Mystic comes back to a specific hut every year for a sacred tradition of hers. She fixes the roof in blinding rain and picks sunflowers.
Year 17
Day 1 - Her birthday. A cursed day she considers it. The unicorn awakes and her eyes land on her machete. Some memories come back to her before she dismisses them and gets to making breakfast.
After making breakfast, Mystic begins her journey to her destination and protects her bouquet of sunflowers from the wind.
Later that day, after making her way through the never-ending rain, Mystic arrives at a makeshift gravestone and solemnly nestles down next to it before placing a tender hoof on it.
