Should I make Blazing Shadows a musical?

Well, not exactly a "musical", but just add a few songs here and there in the story. I only have a few songs in mind, and I want to keep it a few if I do decide to add some songs. I just wanted to get an insight on what others think. Should I add some songs in Blazing Shadows or no? I'd like to hear your thoughts .

I don't think there's anything wrong with a few short songs here and there. it would actually fit considering who's in the story. But that's just my opinion.

Do you mean written out original lyrics or just links to YouTube or whatever for musical accompaniment? I'm not currently a reader of this story, but the latter is completely fine and the former I haven't seen done too often. If it works though, that'd be cool.

It's hard to write songs for a medium with no audio. For one thing songs need rhythm and a beat, which doesn't translate very well without instrumentals. The second issue is timing, pausing the song to describe what's happening at the same time breaks the flow of the story.
