Really could use some help saving Pony-Me's sequel story right now. · 5:17am Apr 1st, 2020
No, this is not an April Fool's joke. Into Equestria's basically on life support right now. Ignore the upcoming April Fool's chapter coming out soon.
I've got a couple points that I need to get across concerning the story:
- Unlike with Pony-Me, I haven't really felt anything as far as a connection to the story goes. Pony-Me was a passion project of mine with an emotional connection, while Into Equestria just... exists. I didn't plan for Pony-Me to get a sequel as soon as it did.
- The story has absolutely no direction, and its end goal is based almost entirely off of what I have planned for the original fiction's ending. Simply directly adapting content from one place to another really isn't all that original.
And so, I'm calling for your help in getting Into Equestria onto its feet. I don't know how I'll pull it off, or even if I'll be able to do it, but here's hoping.
The only other option I have in mind is to lay the entire Pony-Me universe to rest, and focus solely on its original fiction adaptation instead.
Dunno, still have yet to finish Pony-MeTM
Personally, I'd Scrap "Into Equestria" altogether. it's oblivious that it isn't been felt, the story's actively rejecting you it seems.
Maybe focusing on the next project will give you the clarity to rework the next step on the Pony You universe ;)
Well, if you know you're not connecting with a story... don't write it. Until you can come up with some idea that you might like enough to continue writing it, it'll just be a torturous experience with a pretty mediocre story coming out the other end
