If you got here without reading the previous blog post or Unity 2 you're gonna be confused. Just scroll through for the pony pics, or maybe skim it in the hopes of finding a useful horse fact.
Love storms. Had some heavy ones yesterday that I could hear over my headphones. Made for quite the interesting ambiance given what I was listening to was fairly mellow.
5238904 I really liked that storm. Came out of the basement and kept seeing flashes... thought the bulbs were going until I saw a shadow of branches. Didn't even hear the thunder over all the birds, electronics, and roomies (yes, they're that noisy). And then I turned it all off, killed the lights, and opened the kitchen door to watch.
Where I was in Michigan, we had non-stop lightning with less than a second between bolts for more than half an hour.

That’s always nice when the storm adds to the music.

For the most part, until it was right overhead, it was more flashing than thundering . . . like, I didn’t hear it, but saw it through the living room window and just had to go and get a shot of it.
And then there was a few minutes of hail, too.

I forget, what part of Michigan are you from? I thought you told me but I can’t remember.
FIlmed out my front door last night, before the hail started.
Oooh spooky

I loved severe weather appreciation week. Of course I also love storms.
There are thunderstorms here as I read this and watch the video. Supposed to have more soon. I really love a thunderstorm at night!
Temperature 20 degrees above norm, dry as the bone
I envy you.
And here I am just wondering if I should move my plants outside or wait until things are consistently above 40 F at night.

One of my favorite lines, I think.
Holy cow that's legit? I haven't seen a storm that intense since I was a kid. Yikes!
Nice. :)

It was wonderful.

It was most excellent!
Thanks for birddogging this particular story! I enjoyed it oodles.

Storms are the best. Fog’s good, too; I like fog.

All of us who are at least part pegasus at heart do.

Night thunderstorms are the best. I prefer them to day thunderstorms, honestly--the lightning’s way more awesome.

On the downside, at least for farmers, is that their fields are lakes.

Ooh, that’s a good song.

Flying an airplane into a storm takes a special kind of pilot.
Depends on the kind of plant. My daffodils don’t seem to mind a bit of snow.

I think it really sums up what it is to be a pegasus.
I re-read the story today and it was just as excellent as I remembered.

It is indeed! We get one or two of those a year, usually.

It’s a fantastic story!

That was us last month. Now we're getting fire warnings and watering plants like it's summer.

<chuckles> No worries. I'm over here in Lansing. Still got a kick when you were talking about places I recognize with some of your stories.

We got a couple months before that happens (if it does).

Lots of them are local places. Heh, you could hang out at the Cedar St. Meijer and wait to see if the Shipt pony shows up.
We ought to get together for a beer or whatever after the quarantine’s over.

I may or may not be heavily influenced by CiG as well c.c

There’s nothing wrong with that; he’s a good writer and a hell of a dude.
