I suppose the first point of business is to offer an apology.
I've been writing Lyra's Ultimate Item Emporium for seven years and two months. Who am I, George R R Martin?
Maybe if I were as good a writer as him, it'd be acceptable. But I have zero delusions of such grandeur. Back in 2012 - 2013, I was able to devote a lot of time to writing, and it showed. Both in the amount of stories and chapters I put out, and sometimes in the quality (or lack thereof). These days, my job and my kids take up a huge amount of my time. Sure, I get some time to play games, or go fishing, or whatever. But there's not a lot of free time.
The last chapter I put out for Lyra's was November 1st, 2018.
Surely I could have found some time since then. In my defense, I have been determined not to write just to write, and to ensure what I do put out is entertaining. Hopefully I succeed in that sometimes. In 2018, I put out 7 chapters in a row in rapid-fire succession... and then I stopped writing until now.
I'm sorry.
I wrote myself into a corner. I knew where the story was going, but I didn't pick the best path to get there. I was stuck. For years. I could have forced out an ending, but that would have been horrible, and an insult to anyone who has stuck with the story through the years (or anyone new who picked it up only to be disappointed).
I dedicated a lot of my free time to working my way out of this rut. Then, a few weeks ago, I figured it all out.
The story will end at chapter 35. Everything is mapped out. I know what to do, and where everypony is going. I just need to write it.
I know better than to say it will be done soon, because every time I do, I end up disappearing for years. But I'm determined to finish the story, and finish it well. Again, I'm a bit ashamed it took so long to get going. I hope what I have in store is worth the wait.

Por cierto no subestimes tu escritura tu historia es muy divertida, yo en algún momento quise escribir pero a pesar de mis mejores esfuerzos las cosas no resultaron bien

Congratulations on making it through the block and life so far. Dont stress on this, especially if you got so much life to work through already. Thing about completing, is that you can come back years later and remember freinds youve forgotton and good times, and make your life a little better.

Congrats on creating a clear plan and implementing it!
I’m just glad that instead of ditching the story altogether without an explanation, you not only told us, but worked your way around what you’ve done and reached the ending that way.
