Promoting an artist doing cheap character designs, and showing off some WWB characters · 9:43pm Jun 21st, 2020
So despite working with a fair amount of OCs, I actually hate designing them. Oh sure, I love coming up with their stories and personalities. But designing the appearance? Not something I enjoy. So when I came across an artist named Eonlonic who is doing Black Lives Matter charity custom character designs for just $5 a pop. She's very good, and that is a hell of a deal! I'll share the ones I got below, but be aware three of four of these are characters not introduced in WWB yet.
First up is the only character y'all know – Windfall. Although his human counterpart is the one you're more familiar with, I got his pony designed since that's a solid base for him as a human as well.
The next three are characters that'll be introduced in the future of WWB. We're not too far off from meeting these characters, and having a visual guide helps me figure them out, I think. Here's Smooth Blues:

I don't consider any design final until I write it or Pasu draws a final version of it, but I really dig these designs quite a bit! I'd highly recommend working with Eonlonic, she's a delight and she works quickly. Here's the link to that journal again!
I've also got some more art coming soon, hopefully. There's a very important character being introduced in the book I'm writing, she's actually arguably the main character of Who We Become (I've said for years it isn't Sunset haha), so I commissioned five artists to draw her in their own style lmao, I'm gonna share her with y'all in one master post when I get all five. I've also got some Playing House art coming.

'Smooth Blues' is kind of a waste of a chance to make 'Smooth Jazz' memes though.
Windfall's got an interesting look. Wasn't expecting feathers near his hooves. Also...who's the main character in WWB if it's not Sunset and how are you just introducing her

The extra feathers on like his hooves and tail wouldn't be canon to WWB, it's just an artistic style choice. And as for who the main character is, you'll see her when I get the art for her, and her story will be coming out later this year. It's called Acts of Love, and I'm writing it now
