Pony-Me or Splintershard this November? · 7:18am Oct 5th, 2020
Hey.
It's been a while since I've talked about Pony-Me.
Now, I know that I mentioned how I was working on a reboot.
But lately, I've been making almost zero progress on it.
Most of what I've been working on these days is my current flagship series, Splintershard.
It's refreshing to be able to write something new again.
But at the same time, I still want to give Pony-Me the chance to follow through with its intended ending, instead of what it currently has.
But I don't have the drive for that. At least, not when I have an update schedule to worry about.
It's why almost all of my writing sessions have been taken up by Splintershard and Sunbeam.
So, I ask you this:
Come this November, would you like to see a focus on Pony-Me, or Splintershard?
As of now, Splintershard is nearing the completion of major arc 2, and with arc 3 currently having no plans written up, this year's NaNoWriMo (or NaPoWriMo, if that's how you roll) would be a perfect opportunity to push myself to go beyond what arc 2 has already delivered.
But on the other hand, with Pony-Me's plans already existing, albeit heavily revised in comparison to the original, it would take much less effort to write the story (again). Results would certainly come quicker, but at the same time, aside from the changes made to put the story on the track I've laid for it, it's pretty much the same ol' story still.
And so I'll ask you now: which would you like to see being worked on this November?
(Also, it kinda sucks how I can't tag multiple stories in blogs. I'll make another post for Splintershard.)
