An update...Effect-ive immediately · 2:03pm Nov 9th, 2020
So, as you may know, I am a fan of Halo and Star Wars. But I recently redownloaded Mass Effect 1 on my Xbox, and I fell in love once more. I mean, Commander Shepherd is a total badass of a very respectable level, and frankly, I haven't seen many recently updated Mass Effect fanfictions here on site.
So, I am going to remedy that.
I am planning a Mass Effect crossover, set after the ending in which the Reapers are destroyed, but in this story, Shepherd survived the blast. But was comatose for a month, then he had to recover for another month. Once that passes, the Alliance recieves an unknown, encoded signal originating from a planetary system on the other side of the Veil, in uncharted space.
Shepherd, Joker, EDi, and the Crew of the Normandy SR2 are tasked to investigate and report back. Upon arrival, they discover the planet Equestria and its inhabitants...but all is not as it seems...
As the crew must contend with not only the ponies, but the other species on Equestria and their own goals and ambitions, a dark force stirs in the north...
Yeah, expect plenty of twists and turns in this one.
Also, I would also like to ask if anyone who has played the full Mass Effect series would care to help me write this as a contributor. It would mostly consist fact-checking my knowledge and helping me write with the lore of the series, which is something I am not as familiar with.
Anyway, I'm super excited to get this going, and I hope you are too.
There’s a codex in all of the three games with information like how space combat works, how FTL is achieved ect.

Problem is I only have the first game.
You know of this...
...right?

Yep. That's what inspired this.

Your welcome, might I also suggest asking around Fanfiction for advice? There’s some good writers there who have made pretty unique stories AND fleshed out the various races in their own way.
One of those writers I would suggest getting advice from is Apollonir the author of Mass effect the iron heart of man..
