In a large portion of their ranges across Asia, tigers and leopards often end up having to share their home ranges with each other as well as their prey, and in nature the bigger cats are dominant over the smaller ones, which means that the leopard is the one that has to be subordinate to the tiger. In one place located in the Himalayan foothills leopard densities decreased following an increase in tiger populations and when tigers were reintoduced into Sariska National Park, India it was observed that leopard densities there also decreased, and there are documented cases of Amur Tigers killing Amur Leopards. Below are videos of tigers and leopards interacting in the wild, enjoy!
