Blog: Pie Sisters Full Names Original Idea Do Not Steal

Ok, so we have the two canon and also two best Pie sisters:

Pinkie Pie > Pinkamena Diane Pie
Maud Pie > Maudileena Daisy Pie

But we need two more! So here they are:

Marble Pie > Marbaleena Delizabeth Pie
Limestone Pie > Limestonamith Delilah Pie

Posting mostly so I don't forget this later.

Back in the misty before-times, when Maud wasn't a thing yet and we'd named Pinkie's family after the various Pac-Man ghosts, I had a fun little system in place. The mother was Susan Unity Pie. And the daughters, going from eldest to youngest were:

Pinkamena Diane Pie
Blinkastasia Tetra Pie
Inkantessa Octavia Pie

Yes, that Octavia. It was a common bit of fanon at the time that she and Marble were actually the same pony. History lesson aside, these are some nice full names.

I was wondering about the weird name for the Marble + Limestone group! Fascinating look into fandom history, thank you for it. Having only started watching the show late last summer, I missed out on a lot!

oh it's just going by feel, "Limestonamith" makes me think of "Shulamith" which gives it an old-fashioned Biblical name feel, and "Delizabeth" is a bit of fun by extending the naming convention to silliness, and with Marble being last it's implied they just ran out of D- names
