To quickly inform those who might not know, these lore articles were one of the ways I promised to share more with my Patrons this year. For January I'm sharing them with everyone, but after that I'll make future entries patrons only. These articles are not required to understand the story, and are not expected reading. They just contain more information about the aspects of the setting that went beyond the scope of the stories I was writing. They also aren't edited and never will be, since I use them for internal reference, so expect a few typos and stuff.
Fascinating stuff. I can see why most of this won't factor into the story, but it's still neat to see. The mention of Discord's species is especially intriguing.
interesting i wonder if the old ones were humans if so their legacy like here ends in diaster, all empire fall eventually, give of a very frost punk vibe, kinda surprised celestia not tried to incorporate zircon into equestria earlier i guess it due to conquest even peaceful conquest not being in ponies nature
