The Power of The Internet Is Both Terrifying And Awe Inspiing · 2:33am Jan 28th, 2021
Redditor's rebelled against hedge funds and tried overthrow the stock market is not a sentence I expected to ever type. Well. from what I understand, it happened.
Billionaire's were fucking lived and trading in GameStop stocks has been banned, r/wallstreetbets was banned for a while, now the redditors. They didn't like that someone else was winning the game, so they turned the game off.
The redditors are now saying they're gonna do it again as retaliation.
The whole thing is hilarious, and a reminder that the internet is actually pants-shitting levels of terrifyingly powerful if you're on the wrong end of it's ire.
