My Adventures with Superman - Season 2

Just watched the premiere, first two episodes of the new season.

And I think we are off to a FINE start with this season! :pinkiehappy: :yay:

God, I've missed this show. Do yourselves a favor and look into it. This is one of the best Superman things - hell, one of the best superhero things in general - out there in a LONG time. :pinkiehappy:

Thoughts on The Fall Guy (2024)

This was fun. Not an all-time great, but still, a good and stylish way to kill two hours.

Thoughts on Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace

The last time I watched this movie, I was around eight years old, having rented it from Food City. I'm glad to have watched it again, and on the big screen to boot.

    Primal Jack

Found this image courtesy of Reddit. It was too good not to share. :pinkiehappy:

Speaking a little more seriously though, it's interesting to look at this and compare/contrast the two characters' designs and the respective art styles of their shows.

    I Am Back

Hey everyone. I'm sorry for being so quiet these past few days, but Internet connections were pretty crappy at both the hotel and at the convention, so I figured I'd just save the big response for when I finally got home and unpacked.

SpongeBob VAs on Cursing · 9:29pm Feb 7th, 2021

No deeper meaning behind this. This is just something that never fails to make me laugh, and I hope that it will get some laughs from my watchers too. :raritywink:

My favorite part of this is a tie between Tom Kenny and Mr. Lawrence's parts in this, to tell the truth. Anybody have any different picks? XD

Hey, if you thought that's funny, you should listen to Rob Paulsen's Talkin' Toons.
Jennifer Hale as...Grand Moff Cinderella in The Ever-So-Magical Destruction of Alderaan!

Oh dear God. I've known about that video but I've not seen it yet. XD

I do love those videos. I had a good laugh at Phil Lamarr doing Samurai Jack by way of Goodfellas. :rainbowlaugh:

Yeah. And there's also Tara Strong having Bubbles quote The Big Lebowski.
Be honest, though, is it just me or is scarier when Cinderella does it?!

Ohhhh the glory of watching children's cartoon VAs swearing on and off.

Just like hearing Rarity telling people to F her hard :derpytongue2:

I think hearing Plankton's swearing got me the most. That was so out of nowhere, and yet ironically sounds like something he would say.

It must be such a wicked temptation when you're a voice-actor, to use your gift for this sort of end. :rainbowwild:

I agree about Plankton's VA. It's both out of place and yet, very very appropriate too. :yay: And while this doesn't have swear words in it, I still laugh at--

"They're onto you, Plankton. All those innocent people who died of indigestion from eating at the Chum Bucket... I killed them all, of course."

That's another video I've noticed but not yet seen. (Mainly 'cause I've not seen the original movie :twilightsheepish: )
Fair enough, I reckon. XD

The only thing scarier than a Death Star is a Death Star operated by a fantasist who's clearly taken drugs.

5449842
Er...where have you seen that?

5449846

I mean when Cinderella points the Death Star at Alderaan, she probably thinks she's just getting the planet ready for the royal ball. "Bibbidi bobbidi KA-BOOM!"

Just listen to the way Cinderella speaks. That is the voice of someone who is definitely away with the fairies.

5449849
Ah right. Sorry. Misunderstood. :twilightblush:
I mean, technically 'Away with the Fairies' wouldn't be too far off in a literal sense. She knows one after all.
And Aurora knows three.

5449851

Well, they believed Princess Aurora was cursed to sleep for a hundred years. No one considered a drug overdose.

Luckily, Prince Philip was very good at CPR.

5449856
Hm...interesting interpretation.

5449857

In hindsight, I honestly don't know where all this dark humour came from.
