The past two days have been overwhelming for Scampy and I.
In a good way.
I honestly am not sure what to say here.
My blogpost got over 1800 views in less than two days. It was signal-boosted—and not just by folks I follow (or who already follow me)—over thirty times. Multiple Discord servers spread the word. In addition to the fifty comments on the original blog, both my Fimfiction and Discord DMs have been full.
So much kindness, compassion, and love.
And on top of the moral support...
Wow.
I was not expecting to receive a fraction of the attention, support, and help that this community has sent Scampy's way. I was, and am, genuinely floored.
I won't lie. I had a good cry over it.
Everything that has been sent to me, whether a donation or well-wishes, has been passed on to Scampy. This has all been about, and for, her. It's only logistics and necessity that have made me the middle(wo)man.
Speaking of which... I sent her all the funds today. They are hers now. I kept not one penny for myself. Because she deserves every last jot and tittle of it.
If I am at a loss for words, she's practically paralyzed at this point. Reaching out was such a difficult decision for her to make to begin with, but the response has been... like a crushing bear hug. A beautiful, wonderful thing, yes—but one that has left her absolutely speechless.
Trust me, it's a good kind of speechless. Yet, it's still the kind that leaves her needing time to formulate what to say.
As I said in my previous post, please continue to refrain from messaging Scampy at this time. If you want to leave a thoughtful comment for her on this blog (or the previous one), you are more than welcome to do so. You can also brighten her day by reading and leaving a nice (story-based) comment on one of her fantastic works. But please direct any questions, concerns, direct messages, or less-than-positive comments to me.
When she is ready, she will be making a blogpost of her own. However, it will likely be at least a couple of days before that happens, so please be patient. Trust me, she wants to say something in response to all this—she just needs time.
For now, just know that she is beyond grateful for the love you all have shown her. And, despite the circumstances that led to her needing this help, she is okay right now. She is safe.

To everyone who has given their love and support, whether in the form of kind words, a signal boost, or even financially, I cannot say anything but thank you. Genuinely, sincerely, wholeheartedly. Not only for your compassion, but for doing so at a time like this, in a way like this.
Without ending this blog on my soapbox, I will say that it's things like this that reinforce my beliefs in the inherent, immanent goodness of humanity, despite all the rotten things in the world. To love is to give freely, openly, and courageously, and you all have shown us how deeply your love runs. And that is forever humbling.
