A small progress update commemoration · 8:37pm Mar 15th, 2021
Last night, a month after the last one, I reached the end of chapter 11 of The Seven Trials of Clover the Clever!
Now, "reached the end" is not the same as "finished". There's plenty more work to do on this chapter. But I'm quite pleased with what I've got so far. This is the Fourth Trial, it is a major chapter and it has marvelous characters and scenes in it. In fact just the other night I reached a scene that was one of the oldest ideas I had way back when I was doing the early planning for this story. And even though I'd been waiting to write it for literally years, when the time came it still managed to sneak up on me.

That's right. This time around I decided to write the whole story out before I begin posting it, because of Various Reasons. I've been working on it for the past two-two and a half years and I think it's going to be brilliant.
Honestly I feel a bit silly at times for posting status updates to a story that nobody but a few prereaders can see, but I have to share my progress somehow if only to keep my own spirits up.
