Sorry for the radio silence, gang, things have been odd the last couple of weeks. To catch you up, doctors found a tumor in my grandma. She was admitted to the hospital and diagnosed with cancer. She had surgery to remove the tumor, which was a success, but has since fallen ill with an infection. She won't tell my parents how she's really doing, and the doctors are being equally cagey. It's... It's rough. I basically have no energy to do anything creative. If my DnD game wasn't a pre-made game, I don't think I would even be doing that right now.
On top of that, my keyboard ate shit last week. Half of my keys just stopped responding to normal keypresses, you basically had to slam your fingers into them, which is hardly conducive to writing. It also happened on the one day I woke up feeling good and in a writing mood. Go figure. I've got a new one on the way, it's supposed to be here tomorrow. I've got a spare keyboard that I'm using now, but it feels.... weird and I don't like it.
In brighter news, my editor / roommate bought the two of us Valve Indexes, so that's been fun, if very disorienting. I've got some problems with motion sickness, but I'm hoping to be able to work through them.
So, yeah, that's an update on me. Hopefully next week I'll have some energy and time to get some writing done and give a proper update. Sorry for the quiet, guys, I truly am.
