What happened to the TWE · 5:31am Dec 2nd, 2012
Knightly deleted it.
My response to this:
Knighty, I've never had any reason to feel negative emotions towards you.
But you've rightly pissed me off.
I am a member of the TWE. I gave several comprehensive, enlightening reviews, and had users respond positively, asking for additional help and such. Yes, some people get mad when they don't get showered by praise. If I was not going to leave an official TWE review/edit, I would not use my TWE signature nor identify myself on behalf of the group.
So why are my actions, (which, as I said before, were met with positive results,) labelled as attacks on authors and pure hate? The TWE has standards. The TWE has rules. And when those rules get broken, those who broke them are supposed to be punished. Now, there were dozens of people listed as members of the TWE. Only a fraction were actual authorized members.
And when those rules get broken, those who broke them are supposed to be punished.
I have not broken the rules of either FiMfiction or the TWE. So why am I being punished?
If you're going to delete the TWE, then you'd better ban EVERY user that leaves negative comments or reviews. Otherwise you're letting personal grudges get in the way of your responsibilities. Yes, it's your site. yes, you can do whatever you want. If you keep pulling moves like this, though, people are going to replace FiMfiction.
