Starlight Over Detrot is done and now I'm intent on writing something else. I've got the outline for a romance novel. A non-pony romance novel, mind. That being said, I wanna write a few more pony things while I do that. I've got a heap of ideas for an 'Epilogue Part Four' for Starlight which happens a few years after the events of Epilogue Part Three and just sorta ties everything off.
In between, as we start to recover from Covid, I wanna start going to some conventions as they happen. It's gonna be one wild year, so as events begin to open up again, lemme know which ones you'll be headed to and maybe we can meet up and I can buy you a drink. I attend Gameholecon every year in Wisconsin, so I'm always glad to teach some fresh gamers.
Per usual, our Discord channel is ongoing while I work up to my next story. I've no idea what the next pony story is likely to be. Have a couple of ideas. The Equestria Opposition Party was super popular, so maybe a short in their world. Lemme know your thoughts.

Good luck with the writing! Though I'm afraid I'm not sure at the moment just which of your ideas would be best to work on next.
And I hope you have some good convention trips! Though I'm also afraid that I'm not sure when or if I'll have the money for that sort of travel (and then on top of that there's the still-ongoing pandemic situation, which seems to be improving somewhat at this particular moment but which could still produce more disruption; I don't think I'd be making any travel reservations just yet even if I had ample funds).
I feel that Starlight ended off in quite a decent place, all things consdiered. For a story so long running, everyone will have their own ideas and preferences of what should happen. And things ending as open as they did left a lot resolved without necessarily hard-ending a lot of things, I feel. Though I guess it may not have been enough for some with stronger opinions, I guess.
I'd actually want to see more pony but non-starlight stuff for what else you've got. Nearly a decade writing that stuff, an epilogue pt 4 would work sure, but frankly, I'd like to see stuff that isn't constrained by the limitations of Starlight's universe and characters, as fun as that may be.
