Anyone still here?
To say the last couple of months have been busy is an understatement and a half. Between school and work, I've been basically going 16 hours a day every day with very few breaks. And I still haven't had enough time to do everything better than half-assed. Ain't it a bitch when you're overextending yourself and it's still not enough?
Well, it's been adequate enough to pass at least, but I still don't feel great about it. Today is the first day of my last finals week. Just four exams and a research paper to turn in this week, and then I walk the stage in six days. After six long years of struggling for this degree, I'll finally be done. Just one final limp to the finish line.
I don't think I'll be immediately returning to creative endeavors, or at least not all at once. I am as burned out as burned out can be right now, and I will need some time to recover. Also, the next month is going to be a transitional period in my life, moving to a new city, starting a new job, settling in, all that. With finals off my plate, I'll probably start getting back to writing little by little over the next few weeks as time presents itself. I'd like to do a quick one-shot to get back into the swing of things before I jump back on Set Sail.
For that warmup oneshot, I realized the other day that I've never written anything focused on Smolder or Ocellus yet. How about both of them? Together? Smooching? It's more likely than you think. 
It just feels good to finally be almost free of this whole college shiz. Soon I can get back to writing stories on this slowly obsolescing pony fiction site! How've you guys been doing lately? I'd like to read some good stuff, got any recommendations?
Would the story be sfw or are they gonna hold hands?

Great job on getting to the last stretch, go earn that degree! WIsh I could recommend some good stories, haven't had time to read many thanks to my Bluebird story taking up many of my weekends so far this year. I know AugieDog did a rather fun and charming Ocellus Story back in March called Caper though if you haven't checked it out yet.
