Well, as I try to get more people interested in the Tropical Post-apocalyptic Story Contest, I get more ideas and try to throw them out there and see if these prompts might encourage others with their entries.

Question of the Week #152 (Even more NS)

Hello everyone and welcome back to the question of the week.

So, tying into last week's questions (feel free to look at that question if you haven't already), I wanted to talk more about Neo Somnambula: Desert Lotus.

Question of the Week #151 (More NS)

Hello everyone and welcome back to the question of the week. Admittedly I've had a hard time figuring out questions to ask and the fact that I've been wotking on other non mlp related projects doesn't help much either.

I've been having trouble focusing on my mlp projects as of late. I've even been having trouble working on Act 3, so I've decided to try to read through the whole story so far.

    Apologizes...

Sorry for not being frequent with my Questions of the Week. I've been busy with some projects as well as homebrewing DnD 5e content. :twilightblush:

Yeah, that's not a great excuse, but it is what it is.

Hopefully I'll have an idea for a question or two later (that's the other problem, thinking of questions I haven't already asked), we'll see. :rainbowwild:

Question of the Week#11 · 12:09am Jun 3rd, 2021

Well, I feel better today, so now I can start the Question of the Week! Da da duh! :derpyderp1:

So the question is as follows: What sort of mythical creature do you think might hunt succubi and why?

Feel free to explore the reason behind it, like does it hunt them for food, the dream energy they harvest or perhaps out of distaste.

I look forward to seeing your answers. I hope you all have a good day.

The war between Heaven and Hell may have gone Cold, but it hasn't gone. Pony interpretations will probably have to lean into Ezekiel due to winged ponies being too normal.

The best answer you might get from me is Oni because they eat pretty much anthing and succubi live in hell and oni also live in hell so yeah. Dream Eaters would've been my definite answer if it weren't so obvious. Also while google searching for this topic i found a steam game that lets you be a succubus lmao.

I’d say original changelings, actually. They’d hate the succubi for taking up all the love energy, and succubi would hate them for not having any emotions to feed on.

No-so-mythical.

Some Changelings develop particularly powerful unicorn magic. They can summon demons and pass between dimensions. Because the race as a whole thinks of themselves as being on the top of every food chain, a few individuals hunt succubi. Some pretend to be pony clients while others encourage a pony “friend” to summon and distract the chosen prey.

Rumors of a single, alluringly beautiful succubi that in turn hunts these Changeling Magi are simply that: rumors. Tales of princesses and queens being unable to lure this target into the open are unsubstantiated. Nevertheless, any Changeling Magi unwise enough to discuss such rumors is reprocessed. This fact alone makes even the best hunter wary.

Well, at least this didn’t change while I was away.

As for my ideas, maybe it’s actually a servant of the moon. I don’t want to use names, but I’m pretty sure you know who/what I mean.
This would make sense, cuz they’d view the dream as a sacred place and the succubi use the dreams. Plus some of the succibi are... let’s just say “not sacred” :rainbowlaugh:
