I've been working on a huge prodject for almost a year now, by working on I mean it's been simmering on the back burner, but either way it all revolves around a main character, a human with a gun that shoots magic instead of bullets....
I just saw a trailer for a game called wizard with a gun....
It's basically the same damned thing!
Now lm not saying they copied me cause that would be ridiculous, and I sure as hell ain't copying them and I don't realy think anyone would say that, and I know that if the game turns out to be the next big thing it'll probably only make my story more popular once I finally publish it...
I mean a gun that shoots magic instead of bullets, it's too general of an idea not to use and I'm actually surprised we don't see it more often.
An excellent example is the magic guns from final fantasy tactics, and I was heavily inspired by the casters from outlaw star.
Why am I writing this? Dont know, maybe I got a little scared and panicked. I have an unrational fear of accidentally committing plagiarism. Hopefully this will give me the kick in the pants I've needed to get back to writing again. But hey, who am I kidding nobody's gonna read this anyway.
What he/she didn't realize I'm gonna read it anyways 🤣
