The House With No Electricity… · 4:04pm Jul 4th, 2021
Hello, everyone. Happy 4th of July and all that. It’s nice to meet you all.
But… I’m afraid, this year, my 4th is a sad one.
For clarification, at around 12:07 PM, all of the electricity in my house cut out, and everything in my house that uses it went down. TVs, consoles, PCs, even the Wi-Fi itself. With no way to charge anything and nothing to do, today and yesterday have been about me trying to survive in a house with no electricity. And even now, there’s not a lick of electricity in the house. I am currently having to charge my devices from a friend’s house just to talk to you all like this.
I don’t know what I’m meant to do about any of this and currently, there’s no clear way out. We were supposed to have an electrician out today to try and fix it after yesterday’s electrician turned out to be completely useless, but even then, I feel like that won’t be fixed today or if the appointment will even happen. As it stands, for dinner, we’re just gonna have to eat whatever we can out of the fridge, then dump EVERYTHING else, as the fridge’s food is definitely gonna be spoiled by this power outage.
I hate everything about this current predicament with every fibre of my being. My whole life revolves around electronics, and without it, I feel like I’m adrift without a paddle, and even the things I’m doing to pass the time now, such as reading books and talking with family isn’t enough for me. But… for now, I guess I’ve just gotta shut up and deal with it…

Already ranted about this with you over Discord, shared my thoughts on how you could handle this but wish I could do more to help.
