It is absolutely disgusting but sadly unsurprising that Warner Bros. did not put the name of the artist in the credits of Space Jam: A New Legacy. Imagine putting your heart and soul into your work for years and then someone takes it as their own instead of commending you for your contributions. That's like the ultimate backstab they've ever committed. The artist is character designer Dave Álvarez and he tweeted his frustrations about it.

It's sad isn't it, so much work was done and yet no recognition from the people you work for. I still haven't seen the movie but I heard it's was a disappointment (but not much as black widow thought), the movie wasn't about the story it all about how many I.P they can fit in the movie, and many questions never got answered. Worse they poured salt in the wound by insulting the fan by calling them (us) weirdos, by stating the obvious.
