Hi.
I know it's been a while since I last updated The Crystal Story. Part of that is holiday, another part is the fact that Chapter 14 (as I mentioned in the Author's Notes) was very hard to write.
During the holiday, I went through the parts of the story I've published so far, and compared to my other big work, Fixing the World, Piece by Piece. What I've decided to do is the following: I am going to edit/rewrite all the published parts of the Crystal Story, so the story flows better and more natural. Unfortunately, as I've just today decided to do this, it'll be some time before I am done.
As for the rework itself: the plot and story will remain the same, but I will add extra scenes, more background information in some areas where I think it's unclear, and generally will be more cohesive and story-like. I hope.
I will try to get at least some of the reworked chapters done before the 31st of August so I can publish them on that day. But that's not a guarantee or a promise.
To make up for the lack of content, I'll publish a new chapter of Fixing the World, Piece by Piece both today and tomorrow. Hope you have fun reading that instead.
