Hello my lovely readers. It’s that time again for another episode.
This one took a while to develop, longer than I would have expected. Yet once I started writing it I was able to finish it pretty quickly. A couple of things.
Yes, the title does reference the song from Kingdom Hearts. This was considered better, so to speak, than the working title, which was: “Nechayev is a Bitch.” 
Secondly, getting into a bit of spoilers, We now see what the second half of season two will be all about. It’s all about using the Phoenix in an attempt to develop secret weapons. Not the most kosher of things, as you can see.
But we also see what was going on with Wattson, and this is where I have a confession to make. Originally she was going to mess with the converter at the beginning of this episode, get knocked out, and be knocked out for the rest of the episode then revived at the end. And back in Mini 6, originally she was Clairica’s “victim” instead of Preta.
However I changed my mind and decided to bring it up a bit forward. And good thing too because it let me wring a bit more pathos out of the affair, and--as a side benefit--send a few of you making paranoid theories about some kind of mass behavior affecting thing going on.
It was never going to be anything other than she made a mistake, she would’ve been fine if it weren’t for these spells, etc.
