Chapter 12 Progression

Well hello there!

Just wanted to di a quick update to let y’all know I’m still working on Chapter 12, though work remains a constant thorn in my side. Regardless I have been making progress and will hopefully have something ready to upload relatively soon.

In the meantime I’d love to hear what aspects everyone has enjoyed of the story thus far and who among the characters you like. And of course feel free to ask questions about anything you want, I’ll answer as best I can without spoilers!

It has been a little while since i've (re)read the story up to the point its written, but i'm patiently waiting for new chapters

The story has been great for now, i am really interested in how you're progressing the story (looking at the tags, how big of a role will the royal guards play?)

I feel like i don't remember the story in too much detail, but i mostly remember and liked the internal thoughts and dreams of Cyrell, the Eris Drifter Elsie fight with the Eliksni, and the reaction of equestria to the warrior now existing among them

I think the way you handled the reaction of the MLP cast to Destiny's Earth, it felt natural, really natural and in character.

Or maybe cuz the part where the character explains his world to the little horses its my favorite part of every Crossover fanfic.

The Guard will be getting a chance to shine here soon, I’ve always felt they needed a break when it came to dealing with threats, and that they needed something to do. I won’t say anymore than that though for now!

I’m glad you’ve enjoyed it this far! I had a lot of fun coming up with interactions leading up to and during the Dark Vanguards battle on Europa. It’ll be nice to check in on them again in the near future.

I’ve already loved having something new to do for FoTL, hope your enjoying the Headless Ones as well!

Thank you! I hope I can always capture every character as they were originally portrayed, and define my new additions as well!

Destiny is, in many ways, a sort of Grimdark-Light universe. There ar e horrors and moments of hopelessness and lose, but just as many triumphs and possibilities for hope. I figured that the best way to convey that was by having it made clear just how different life on Eques is compared to the Sol System. I enjoy that moment of realization in stories myself, but more often I feel like the fear and apprehension of the Mane6 outweighs the most fundamental part of the Equestrians society: the desire to help a friend, no matter where they come from. They can be w, skeptical and even a little scared, it they should always stay true to their core values of helpfulness, and friendship!
